Pricing

Payments go through Stripe on our account. After the event, we transfer the club’s balance. Stripe’s UK card fee is 1.5% + 20p per payment, taken at checkout.

Pre-entries service fee

We add a fee per paying competitor, set by the event level:

• Local and regional: 25p
• National and major: 50p

Activity, free, or sponsored events are often 0p. That is set per event.

Example

For a £10 local entry paid by card:

• Club receives: £9.40
• Stripe takes: 35p (1.5% + 20p)
• We keep: 25p

One payment can cover more than one entry. Stripe’s fee on that payment is split across those entries in proportion to each total.

Refunds

We do not add a refund fee. The original Stripe fee and Pre-entries service fee are not returned.

• Before the first entry deadline, a refund is the entry total minus those original fees.
• After that deadline, refunds are at the organiser’s discretion.

Event entries are for a leisure activity on a set date, so the 14-day cooling-off right in the Consumer Contracts Regulations does not apply. See Terms of service.
